Never Teach Summer School – Make More Money Using Your Teaching Skills to Do This
The school year is coming to an end, and we are so excited about our summer vacation. Well, some of us. Others decide they are going to teach in the summer. They get their resume around all fixed up so they can apply for summer school to teach, where they find a job buzz. The rest of us could have thought of summer school teaching, but somehow the idea of ??sweating in a class with students who do not want to be there does not seem nearly as attractive as a drink with one of those little umbrellas in it, while we sit by the pool or on the beach.
Some of you may already be in summer school before be taught, because you are in “a particular school were, and the job have again, so that some other teachers jealous they are not few thousand dollars to do extra in exchange for the holidays. A is question you should ask yourself whether the summer school is worth it. Many justify it to do, because they “need the extra money” and that “there is only one part of your summer.” I do not know the rest of you This summer, however, flies by August. Would not you rather enjoy the extra two weeks in July?
I, like many other teachers initially thought that the idea to teach in the summer was great because I would be able to make extra money. It makes no sense for me to go there and get a temporary job that would pay me minimum wage. But then I have judged my values, and I realized that teaching 10 months of the year is enough for me. I did not teach summer school for the “fun” it gives me, I have extra money. It made me realize that it was not that I wanted to teach summer school, but I wanted more money than teachers, so I for what I had wanted to make.
This led me to search mode. I started looking for different occasions. If the money was, I wanted to do, not taught the right way to do it. Of course, it secured a large pay check that comes every two weeks religiously, but I realized that it never drastically bonus to me.
I deserve not like the idea of ??returning to school for another degree that I have more money. I knew I had the skills and some ideas that I could make more money during the school year, so that when it came to my summer vacation (and I want me as a claim “mine”), d I be able to doing time with family and friends what I love to spend.
If you seriously consider the long summer school. However, you really need to assess the reasons for it. If not for the love of teaching students who have no interest in being there on your free time, I recommend using the skills you already have (and as a teacher, we have many), make more money for themselves. Use your summer to build a second source of income, not just a fixed salary. By combining your teaching skills, with thinking outside the box, a little learning and application, with the power of the Internet, you will earn money over the whole year, so you spend your summer doing what you want.
